Elizabeth Skokan.

Elizabeth Skokan serves as the Operations Director at Innovation Law Lab, where she oversees the organization’s human resources, finance, and operations functions. Born and raised in a small mountain town in Mexico, Elizabeth witnessed firsthand the profound impact of immigration on her community—a perspective that continues to inspire her work today.

After moving to the United States later in life, Elizabeth brought with her a deep commitment to equity and social justice. In her role, she focuses on creating efficient systems and processes that empower the Law Lab team to advance its mission of supporting immigrant rights through innovation and collaboration.

Elizabeth is passionate about continuous improvement and believes that thoughtful, well-designed operations are essential to building sustainable social impact. Outside of work, she enjoys painting, reading historical novels, and traveling to explore new cultures and ideas.
