Fredi Avila.

Fredi Avila is a lifelong Oregonian whose professional experience spans nonprofits, small and mid-sized businesses, startups, corporations, and mission-driven organizations. His work has focused on immigration justice, workforce development, and sustainable environmental solutions. Fredi began his career in social justice as a Legal Assistant at Immigrant Law Group, contributing to advocacy efforts around DACA, Secure Communities, and Oregon’s Safe Roads Measure 88.

Beyond his work in immigration, Fredi has advanced social impact initiatives through roles at Prialto, Farmers Conservation Alliance, and Papalotzin Imports, where he built strong operational systems, supported sustainable agriculture, and fostered cross-cultural economic opportunities.

A native of the Willamette Valley, Fredi grew up on a hop farm and has called Portland home for over two decades. He enjoys roasting his own coffee, nerding out on agave spirits, spending time outdoors, and cheering for the Timbers and Blazers. His greatest joy comes from life with his wife and their four-year-old child.
