Law Lab builds and studies new tools, services, and policies that help people resolve the problems people experience in participating in civic and democratic life. We use human-centered design principles to steward shared standards develop new models of legal services, technology, and policies that support thriving civic life. We develop and maintain civic infrastructure such as technology, databases, and information clearinghouses so that community leaders can scale social and policy innovations. Many of our innovation projects are technology-based.
