At Law Lab, we use the principles and practices of the new digital age to improve how community can engage and solve problems at scale. Law Lab’s product team researches, designs, and develops new interventions to ensure that community is equipped to make change and sustain change. We equip frontline workers and community members with better technology tools. 

We use human-centered, agile and lean design. We coordinate people, ideas, infrastructure, and data that can scale innovations for civic and community-based organizations and coalitions. We develop & test new models of user-friendly, accessible, and engaging systems, technologies, and policies.

Law Lab places human dignity at the heart of every technology project. This requires designing with communities rather than for them. Their voices, agency, and rights are actively built into our digital systems and solutions.  We measure our success by looking to equity, resilience, and whether people’s lives genuinely improve because of our innovations.
